Painconcern.org.uk has relaunched with a host of new features and improvements to design and layout. The website’s renewal is a crucial part of our drive to make our information more accessible to people who live with pain and healthcare professionals across the UK. The new site’s fresh, stylish design makes it easier on the eye, but more importantly the clearer, simpler menus make it much easier to navigate, especially helpful for people whose condition makes it difficult to click through a series of links to find what they are looking for.
With the new website we’ve aimed to make our publications and podcasts easier to access. It’s now possible to listen to and download the Airing Pain radio show on the site, while new content summaries for all thirty-six programmes make it easier to browse through and find those that discuss the topics which are of most interest to the listener. We’ve also updated some of our most popular publications, such as ‘Managing medical appointments’ and ‘A guide to managing pain’, with more to follow.
Pain Concern Chair, Heather Wallace, said: ‘our website has become increasingly important as we’ve grown as a charity and as more and more people look for information about pain and pain management online. The new site should make us much more accessible to the millions of people across the UK who live with pain and to the healthcare professionals who care for them.’
