Free Mindfulness Courses 2025-26

Free Mindfulness Courses for People Living with Pain in Edinburgh & The Lothians: Book Now for 2025–26

Pain Concern is delighted to offer a wide range of free mindfulness sessions throughout 2025 and into 2026, thanks to generous support from The Nancie Massey Charitable Trust. These sessions are open to anyone living with persistent pain in Edinburgh and The Lothians who would like to explore how mindfulness can support wellbeing.

Mindfulness doesn’t take the pain away, but it can change how we relate to it. Studies have shown that mindfulness-based cognitive therapies can help reduce the impact of conditions like lower back pain and improve quality of life. In fact, a recent article published by Health.com explores how mindfulness and cognitive behavioural therapy can reduce pain intensity and restore function.

Our courses are led by Cath, a trained and accredited mindfulness teacher who first discovered mindfulness through an NHS Pain Clinic. Since 2020, Cath has supported others through the practice, creating a safe, welcoming space for people to learn and share.
