I have Fibromyalgia and am now on 50mg of Morphine a day. I managed to reduce it 2 and half years ago from 160mg . I also managed to stop Pre Gabilin. BUT I am very, very anxious about these new Guidelines from Nice. I understand Opioids are addictive and alternatives should be tried first and Opioids used as a last resort. But I couldnt get out of bed and function without my Morphine. I’ve reduced mine by taking legal CBD oil sold as a food supplement. If the govt were to make CBD oil available to us No doubt \i could reduce my Morphine more. I am having panic attacks worrying about it. I also have M.E and the worst things for M.E are CBT and exercise.
